Transition: Beverly Sills

America's most famous coloratura soprano and manager of the New Your Opera, Beverly Sills died on 2 july 2007 after a long battle with lung cancer. She was 78 yars old.

Sadly, too true. There are many who mourn this great lady (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/03/arts/music/03sills.html?ex=1199073600&en=afa91c4aee407e59&ei=5087&excamp=GGGNbeverlysills)'s passing. She was, and will always remain, special. :(

I was saddened when I heard the news of her passing. My mom loved to hear her sing and I listened along with mom whenever I could!
