Train Vs. Gang Bang

Okay I have a serious question here. What is the major difference between "running a train" and a gang bang. Now this might sound silly but I was having a discussion with a friend the other day and she was talking about how a drunk girl was having a train done to her. She was ranting and raving so I didn't want to interrupt but I got to thinking isn't that just a gang bang? Help me out here people.

I thought a train was one at a time(voluntary), a gang bang was more than one whether together or single(involuntary) and an onion was a voluntary gangbang.

From my understanding. A gang bang is a woman taking on a bunch of guys all at the same time. Where runnig a train the woman takes on the guy 1 or 2 at a time.

So yes the are both the same in the fact a woman has sex with a bunch of guys. The difrence would be in the gang bang the woman starts off with a group of guys in a room with her. They may swap places change up who's doing what and where all with out any one cumming. when running a train one guy goes till he cums then it the next guys turn.

I had already been the "guest of honor" at at gangbang more than once before I first heard the phrase "pulling a train".
It was uttered by this very sweet older man dressed head to toe in black leather. He approached me at party, took my hand in his, and in his soft (Georgia, I think) accent congratulated me on "pulling a wonderful train" the previous party...

A word of explanation; it had been a BDSM event, I had been blindfolded and fastened to a "horse" and so did not actually see all those who participated in the scene the previous weekend, so I really didn't remember him, or what part he took.
I have heard both phrases used interchangeably since. The biggest difference is "Are you pulling a train this evening?" seems to be preferred to "Are you the girlie gettin' gangbanged tonight?"

I have never at anytime heard either phrase used in a way to describe how many partners (or orifices, I guess) were involved at a given moment. Somes times a gangbang (or train) might be limited to simple "serial" vaginal intercourse, or involve simultaneous oral/vaginal penatration (I still don't like the phrase "spitroast") even triple (oral, vaginal, anal) penetrations, or scenes where there are so many things happening at once it is past sensory overload.
