OK so tonight that dude is in a sewage pipe thing in San Diego (I think), replacing a pump literally covered in poo. How much $$ do you think they pay him per episode?

I get to clean it up for $17/hour currently

This is actually more than I know, but my guess is that Mike Rowe is probably producer as well as star of his show, which would mean he gets all that's left after he pays off his crew...so the real question I want to know is how much does he have to pay the cameraman who has to follow him into whatever pool of excrement he gets himself into on a given night...

I didn't think I would care to watch when I first heard about it, but his humor & willingness to tackle whatever shit jobs people hand him makes for some pretty funny TV...

Why do I suspect she just wants to hear him talk dirty? He has quite a resonant voice.

You do know he's the narrator for other Discovery shows like American Chopper, Deadliest Catch, etc...and that he's a former opera singer?

I smell a Mike Rowe erotic fanfic in the works!

And well, one of the jobs I'm shooting for when I move to Austin is wastre treatment plant operator. They pay pretty good money I hear.
