Tonight Mayhem and I leave for our trip to the States!!!! We leave at 0200 GMT June 29th and stop travelling at about 1800 CST June 29th when we arrive at my folks' place in southern Iowa! Whew! However that means that (LOL) I have "extra" hours to celebrate my birthday. I get to show my Brit a hometown 4th of July in America!


I have to admit that it is a little strange for me to "vacation" in my hometown, but I get to see my family and friends....as cliche as it is...absence makes the heart grow fonder.

So we will be gone for a while, but if we get a chance to check in at friends' places we will! All have a safe and happy 4th of July!
