Jax,

Yessir, I do - on my left. My children poke fun at me because "Everyone's cell phone shows the time Dad! Get with the program!"

For a year or two after my "bypass" surgery, I wore the watch on the right wrist since it seemed to bother the left wrist where an incision was made to obtain a vein. Now, though, I'm back to the left wrist ... most of the time. :)

I never used to wear one, but now I have to keep an eye on feeding times and nap times, I wear one most days - on my left.

Most of you (who've posted, anyway) seem to wear your watch on your left wrist.... which should, logically, mean you are all right-handed.

But...... I'm left-handed, and wear my watch on..... my left wrist!

Most lefties I know wear their watch on their right wrist.

Weird.

(Me, I mean!! ;) )

I'm right handed and bizarrely enough wear my watch on my right hand - I've always done so, right from when I got my first watch as a toddler (it was a wind up Snoopy one - his little beagle arms moved to tell the time...cute...lol) and I still do it now, I just don't feel comfy wearing it on my left wrist...

Yep, I'm weird...

I only wear a watch as a jewelery accessory. Ya know...when I want to *bling* more than usual.

I'm right handed but I wear it on the right.

So do people wear their watches over the bump on their wrist bone, or between the bumpy bit and the hand?

My sister wears hers between the bumpy bit and her hand and I've never been able to see how that can possibly be comfortable!

Between the bumpy bit and the hand - although it slides around a bit too......

I am a left handed watch person, and I am right handed

I usually wear a watch. When I do, it's on my left wrist below the bumpy parts (not between the bumpy bits & the hand). When I was but a wee lad, I wore it with the watch face on the inside of my wrist (where one takes pulse) because I'd keep smacking it into things when it was on the outside. Now though, I wear it on the outside.

I feel naked if I leave the house without my watch...& it goes on the left wrist, just behind the wrist bone (I'm right handed, btw)...my 2 sons, both lefties, wear their watches (when they wear one) on their right wrists, but neither wears one often since they both have cell phones...

I rarely wear one, and I usually only wear one if it's not convenient for me to be checking my cell phone too often or if I don't have a purse/pocket for my cell. When I do wear one it's on my left wrist, after the bumpy part. (My grandfather used to wear his between the bumpy part and the hand and broke his wrist skiing because of it - we were told the story so often as kids that it conditioned me into wearing mine where I do.)

I used to wear mine on the left above the bump until I got sick of breaking watches. When I resigned from my last job I bought a simple SwissMilitary Stainless fob watch.

I wear it on my left and write with my right, it typcially slides around as it's a bracelet watch.

I'm left-handed and wear mine on my left — am I equally as bizarre? :)

I work fucked-up hours and keep a watch in my bag but have become finely attuned to time. I usually know the time from the sundial philosophy.

Living and working in the urban village affords me many digital timeshots, too. The city has unobtrusive parking meters displaying the time when I'm in a pinch.

I always wear mine, it doesn't come off unless I'm in the shower or doing dishes. I'm right handed and wear it on my left wrist behind the bump. I feel naked without it, I think I've worn a watch everyday for about the last 20 years.

I seldom wear a watch because I'm allergic to the metal on the back and get a rash from it.

When I'm going someplace where I need to know the time and won't be able to have one in purse or pocket I wear one on my left wrist, above the bump. I'm left handed too.

I've never worn one, I've owned a few and they get carried with me for awhile and then I usually end up misplacing it somewhere ... never to be seen again .... the funny thing is ... even though I've NEVER worn a watch, if someone asks what time it is while I'm in the general vicinity .... I will still glance down at my wrist (left) ... I guess it goes to show how strong some cultural cues can be! :)
