I was looking though a collection of old videos that I have and I came across FLESH GORDON, perhaps the funniest movie I've ever seen, and it got me thinking about the intentionally funny porn movies of the past. I came up with, The case of the smiling stiffs, Gums, or was that just straight parody, Shame of the jungle and Fritz the cat. Then I hit a blank. Can anyone add to the list?

Never saw it, but I know there was a porn called "Geriatric Park" that came out soon after "Jurassic Park".

There was the obviously extreme low-budget "Tarz, Jane, Cheetah & Boy"...I think that one finally got pulled for trademark infringement by the estate of ERB, but it was the nadir of cheap bad film making, complete with mismatched lighting, bad continuity, & the cheesiest looking mechanical croc (there only to bite Tarz' pecker off) ever committed to film...I saw the soft-core edit, but there was enough left in to see that the sex scenes were probably pretty good...

Always though Flesh Gordon was pretty good, too.

Another was Murder on the Orient X-press. As I recall (and it's been a lot of years ago), the movie was pretty well made with more of a story line than most.

Not porn, but the nudist film "Julie" was good. Dealt with a young lady who had to do a college research paper on the nudist lifestyle with the help (??) of her boyfriend. Very nicely done with some humor and cute scenes.

Also saw a bi-sexual film called Miss Kitty's Litter which was pretty good. I think about three or four mini-stories all taking place in an "old west" setting. Surprisingly elaborate scenes.

I forgot to mention that I found "Flesh Gordon & the Sex Ray" to be about the best ever porn/satire ever made...the high point for me was the claymation monster, animated as well as any regular sci-fi flick...he did the whole Fay Wray bit with the heroine, plus he fulfilled all our fantasies by ripping her blouse off...also my wife & I were both ROFLMAO when one of Dr Wang's soldiers adressed him as "Your Assholiness" :roflmao:

In some ways it's a shame that Flesh Gordon is a porn movie because it really deserves a bigger audience.

I think the majority of the 8mm films were pretty funny, especially the B&W. There was one VCR tape that was actually done too well. The costumes, sets, cinematography and sound in Fantasex Island were done so well that any reference to Fantasy Island, brought it to mind. The moans even seemed to be coming from the actors instead of sound-on-sound on top of really bad music. They followed the format and theme so well that even the sex scene separators of the midget 'Poopoo' not being able to get laid at the place where 'Mr. Dork' got everybody fucked, was funny. :rofl:

But back to the era of Flesh Gordon (which I saw at a drive-in-theatre)...there was also a Cinderella flick going around at the time. All I can remember about it now (it's really early) is her "snapping pussy". OMG...I lmao!
