I am beginning to head on that part of the journey myself. I have no good advice yet just wanted you to know you are not alone.

I had gotten a cream from Avon for my sis but never asked her if it worked.
There is something natural that my store sold and I will check tomarrow and see if it is being sold by us. I had a customer swear by it, will let you know.

I've seen a herbal suppliment called Ymea advertised over here. Not sure if it's available in the States and have no idea if it's any cop but it's certainly for the purpose of 'balancing out' one's hormones in a natural way. It may just be like pregnancy though - something you just have to stick out for the time being and take comfort from the fact that it won't be forever.

Eastern - there is a supplement my mother took called Black Cohosh, which she found very effective at reducing the night sweats. I'm not sure how available that is over there or whether it would be suitable for you.
Also, there is a supplement called Agnus Castus which is for menstruating women - but can also be taken for menopause symptoms too.
Make sure you eat plenty of calcium and magnesium rich foods to help your nervous system and keep well hydrated.
Look after yourself, flower :)

for some reason soy is sticking in my head. isn't an increase in soy suposed to be helpful with the symptoms? just a thought...i obviously have nothing of any importance to add. :D

Yep - soy is supposed to be very good for menopause symptoms. That's why women of far eastern origin very rarely suffer with menopause symptoms - because their diet is rich in soy...

Try soymilk - I get the low calorie chocolate flavor and it's yummy. I prefer the shelf stable ones in the isocontainers to the rfridgerated ones - for some reason they taste better to me.
