After how many dates till you finally had sex? A Poll...

I know it's different for everyone lol...but some friends and i were discussing this at the poker table the other evening. About how many dates should you be going on till you have sex? I know it's all about vibe/communication & connection but lets see if we can find a statistical trend. Vote honestly here people ;)

I don't feel that I can honestly vote on this. It's not something set in stone. I have dated people for a year and not had sex with them, and I have had sex on the first date before. You have to make that decision on your own, it's not something that can be dictated by a set number of dates, sorry.

I would say that if I wasn't having sex by date #5, I would move on. It's too important to me in a relationship.

I voted 11-15 as I think I have to know a guy pretty well before I even know whether I want to have sex with him. Having said that, most of my partners have been friends before they were lovers so there hasn't been any formal dating, just lots of getting to know each other beforehand.

Of course, Fussy is kind of the exception as we had sex within hours of our first meeting, but then of course I'd known him for about 4-5 months online before meeting up, so once again, I knew him pretty damn well by then.

I read a story in a newspaper last week claiming that couples that had slept together on there first date had a better chance of having long term relationships, I'll have a hunt around on the BBC website to see if they have the story.

three or four usually, but it depends. You never know, sex might be a good ice breaker prior to date #1!

It was for us Emzo - I was nervous as hell until we did that, and then it just felt 'normal' to be together afterwards.

Dates are pretty sticky, but tasty. I wouldn't have TOO many of them before sex or you might be farting during the crucial moments.
