... we are gaining momentum. EU leaders agreed today to adopt a binding target on the use of renewable energy. On Thursday, they agreed to cut by 2020 the EU’s CO2 emissions by 20%.

Friday’s plans could include a ban on incandescent light bulbs in offices, street lights and private homes by 2010. Australia already has legislated a phase out of glowing filament lighting.

Better late than never.

We have a compost bin outside the back door of my portable and recently my aide experienced a tragic death in the family so we have talked about what happens after you cease to be. One of the kids said, "like that lettuce we put in the compost bin" :D:D:p
