I just purchased an MP3 player. I mainly bought it to listen to at the gym. So I thought I would ask what you listen to while you work out? Tell me three songs that enjoy listening to while you riding the bike, jogging the track, or lifting weights? What keeps you going while you get hot and sweaty and sore?

I soooooo want an underwater mp3 player (like the SWIMp3 (http://www.swim2000.com/product.php?pd_id=SWIMP3) )!!!!!! All the pools I've been to so far don't have an underwater sound system so it's weird, only catching little bits of sound when you come up for air...

As to what I listen to : usually rave-y electronica if I have the choice.

It varies for me depending upon the mood I'm in when I have the workout. Today I'm in a really good mood so probably something from the 80's:

Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet or New Jersey CD's
Eurythmics: Would I Lie To You? always pumps me up
Queen: Fat Bottomed Girls
Def Leppard: pretty much anything by them
Kiss: Rock Hard, Let's Put the X in Sex, Heaven's On Fire
Quiet Riot: Cum On Feel the Noize or Metal Health

A couple of more current ones that get me going are S.O.S. by Rihanna and Temperature by Sean Paul.

Those are just a few.

Depends on what sort of mood I'm going for. Could be 80s rock (Skid Row, Def Leppard, Warrant, White Lion), power metal (the real dungeons and dragons, swords and shields stuff, like Manowar, Rhapsody, Kamelot, etc), death metal (Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Immolation, Meshuggah, old Strapping Young Lad) if I want to get aggressive, and changes in speed and time signature are ok, if I need a continuous rhythm, then long sets of psytrance, hardcore, or techno are more what I'd use.
