INDIANAPOLIS vs CHICAGO

ANSWERING THAT AGE OLD QUESTION ...

IS THE HOOF MIGHTIER THAN THE PAW?

I'm a Chiefs fan so I don't have much of a rooting interest in this one but since I know a lot of Cubs fans are also Bears fans I've gotta pull for Da Bears!

The mid-west will battle it out in the south.

Once upon a time, the Colts were a great team, and I was a true fan ...

Since both teams are just 2 hours away it is a hard choice to make. NOT the Bears all the way. The Rams are also 2 hours away. To all of you Cub fans, Go Cards.

All the Big Orange fans here in TN are gonna be rooting for Saint Peyton as well...I'm hoping the best for him, but that Chicago defensive wall looks terrifying...against the Saints it looked like there were 20 defenders on the field for every play...

I'm torn...I'm a Packers fan ...

I want to remain faithful to the NFC - but the Bears?!?!? Hello rival!

But to pick the Colts would be going against party lines so to speak...

All I do know for certain is thank goodness the Pats are out, I'm sick of them.

Is it bad that I'm trying to decide who will win by which team has better looking players? I think I have to go with the Bears, in that case. Brian Urlacher :hump: just does it for me. And I went to college with the Bears kicker.

If I had my drothers ... I was really hoping for the Ravens ... but ... alas, they're not there. I've got a daughter in Indianapolis and another in Plainfield near Chicago. Woe is me. Roughly a toss up with a tiny edge to ... well ... one of them. :)

I just hope it's a good game.

I just hope it's a good game. Roger that...the commercials aren't good enough any more to keep me interested in another Snoozer Bowl, & I won't even stick around for the halftime show...not even if Prince flashes a boob... :doorpeek:

Halftime looks dull to me and with my beloved Patriots gone.... well I'll still have some shrimp, nachos and beer to keep the day from being a total loss!

And maddy

Blah, I hate the Colts...and the Ravens, too. They almost did the same thing to their respective towns when they skipped out.

Go Bears!

But you know, evenmore importantly, the NHL All-Star Skills comeptition is tonight, with the AS game tomorrow.

I realize the game isn't until a week from tomorrow but I'm sure that there is a pregame show on right now or getting ready to start shortly so I'm going to go ahead and make my prediction.

Chicago 31
Indianapolis 17

I just really don't see it ending up a very close game. I look for the Bears defense to give Peyton Manning all sorts of fits and pick off at least 3 of his passes. I'm thinking the Colts are going to give Hester a shot at returning at least one punt or kick and it's going to bite them in the ass either by him returning it for a TD or by giving the Bears very good field position.

I've been wrong with pretty much every other football prediction I've made here at Pixies though so given what I'm picking, Colts fans are probably in for a pretty good day next Sunday.

I frickin' love Peyton and the Colts... Colts all the way!

So happy the stupid Pats are gone. :) Sorry, but a Jets girl has her loyalties, and it's NOT to the Patriots.

Prince is the BEST reason to watch this, baby! I wish VCRs were still in vogue so I could tape it, old-school style!

That's the truth, scotz. Hadn't thought much about it but most of the commercials aren't as good as they used to be. The Clydesdale's playing football with the zebra ref is about the best I've seen. :(

The two fan-made Doritos commercials were pretty well done. Clever and catchy.

I think only two commercials even got me to think, "Well, they didn't just waste a ton of their advertising budget." The rock, paper, scissors one for Bug Light (I think), and the Budweiser one with the dog who got splattered and ended up with spots so he looked like a dalmation. Other than that, the commercials were about as bad as I thought the game was played.

I'm with Irezumi Kiss, I honestly thought the best part of the whole thing was Prince at halftime. And even that wasn't what it could've been. Then again, I'm sure CBS thought that "When Doves Cry" would've been too risque. Thanks a lot Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake.

I kind of liked the career builder comercials. The e-trade one finger ad was good, as well. I did *not* like the fact that the stinkin' Colts won that game.

I loved loved loved loved loved the NFL commercial in the fourth quarter. I'm going back to watch the commercials today because I missed quite a few of them. But I did giggle at the rock, paper, scissors one too.
