Moods (and the like)

What do you do to change or influence your moods? I reach for music. Different songs and pieces of music contain memories and/or feelings for me. More often positive than negative.

Dancing -- even by myself
Calling a friend -- just to say hi or I love you

A hot bath and a face pack
A phonecall to my sister
Just talking to Fussy about it.

Music does it sometimes but sometimes that can just put me in a worse mood too. There are some movies that I know will automatically cheer me up, O Brother, Where Art Thou? comes to mind right off the bat.

About the only thing that really never fails is hanging out with the dog.

Good point! It's very hard for me to be miserable when either of my cats is purring at me.

LOL @ Lil... retail therapy. I get online and go to many online stores and pick out what I would like to have and actully put the stuff in my shopping cart... rofl! I have some fun with that...

Hmmmm...I agree. My dogs seem to know when I'm down or out of sorts. One of them will bug me until I go play with them or love 'em up. It's like they choose an ambassador for different occasions. LOL
