Very nice assortment of animals you have there. Though I honestly pity you having a pregnant mouse. We had a pregnant mouse once in college, and all I can say is it's a really good thing we had snakes, and friends with snakes.

1 is going to be black the rest are still little pinkies *L*....soooooo cute

Sharni...I love 'em! I used to have mice years ago. Two really cool ones. They enjoyed riding on my bike with me. Also had a pet rat years ago...Beau was his name. Great rat! He used to hitch a ride on the back of my Old English Sheepdog, Mandy. If she turned to quick, (they've got that rolling bear gait), he'd almost fall off and chitter at her. This is terrific! I hope you keep posting pics.

Bella has been moved into Scooters tank...so hopefully i get some brindle pups in around 20 days (Scooter is at present hot on her tail and Bella is doing much squeaking *LOL* no actual mating as yet though)

Snowdrops litter ~ 5 of the whites and the tan&white pups will be rehomed. Depending on sex the black and tan pups will stay. I only require females at present as suitable partners for Scooter. Though my sons have told me they would like a couple as pets, so 2 girls or 1 boy may get to stay on (as pets only, not as breeders)

1 white pup (providing there is a female) will stay as a breeding replacement for Snowdrop. Snowdrop will be a companian for breeding females only from now. Snowdrop, while an excellent mum, is extremely antisocial towards people. As pups are bred for the pet market, antisocial behaviour is not a desired trait.

The dark brindle pup is stunning (darker than mum)....2 brindle&whites like dad....a few caramel&whites, and a paler version of the caramel&white....some whites (but less than i thought) and the black with the white dot on its head

A few more days and i'll get them out and take individual pics for ID purposes

I've just sent off an email to the ANRA (Australian National Rodent Association) based in Brisbane...to look into becoming a registered breeder of mice. I'm hoping to find out more about showing mice as well once i get a reply. It's exciting *LOL*

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! This is such a sweet thread! I love babies of any sort! I just sat whilst my sluggish puter opened each and every pic. I'm still on dial up and this puter is on it's last leg so I sit in anticipation of each pic showing itself. Tis the main reason I rarely look at pic threads anymore and/or open threads with links to vids!

Meet Cherokee (was Nutty *L*)

She is currently in the 4ft tank...for some one on one time so she realises we humans arent all that bad....She had the handlers scared to touch her...but i'm sure she's not actually nasty...just scared and unsure

She is madly investigating the tank and her new big box and shredded paper home..

She came up and sniffed the bit of apple i had....dint eat it....but at least she approached and didn't attack *L*...small steps

She is the same size as Champers and Cinders...so i'd class her as adult...will that make it harder to intro her to my girls? She has also been kept alone in an army barracks so they tell me...anyway hopefully i can make her life more pleasent....

With only a few minor dominance challenges and scuffles every now and then....the intro went excellent!!

I pulled the whole cage down, all shelving and levels removed, took it outside and scrubbed it from top to bottom, let it dry in the sun, then bought it back in ready to set it back up.

Cherokee now lets us pick her up and will shoulder sit...i'm so proud of her....Being in with the other girls and in the main thoroughfar of the house will desensitize her, where the strange noises and sights will no longer startle her

Well Bella had her pups yesterday...i did a quick head count and i seen 11 squiggly pink oh sooooo cute bubs (i'll do a proper head count in a few days)

I got bubba eepers in the house!!!!

The boys are merrily sniffing noses through the wire (the wire squares are small enough to stop them being able to fight) They seem more curious than aggressive so far.

If this divider works...all males will go into a divided tanks...then they have another mouse near them for companionship rather than completely alone...but they cannot do harm to one another

They are growing so fast....

Of the 4 runts....2 of the 'runts' are now the same size as the rest....1 isn't too far behind, though ver little body hair showing....and 1 is still quite little and not a sign of any hair on it yet *L* (hairless maybe)

All (except little runt) are now showing signs of hair coming in....majority are broken blacks....6 like Bartok (1 tailess), 4 like MooMoo (1 tailess) and 2 pews (the 2 smallest). They are all getting quite mobile now, and boy are they noisy little squeakers *LOL* MooMoo is coping well with the 12 of them, and looks really good. I've been giving her some extras to help with rearing such a large litter all on her own.

3 of the boys often jump in the wheel together and run....its all good til one stops and tries to get out or swap spots *LOL*....the wheel doesnt stop and errr well sorta he does nt either....he's then gotta get back to his feet and run or get rolled around.
