Well, last week we had a thread about sneakers... Now we have one on socks :D

My problem is this : I used to wear the cute colourful little socks with pretty designs on them. You know the type. Well, since I've been in Montréal, since I don't have a car I walk everywhere. Those socks I used to wear aren't made for that, I'm afraid, and in a day I end up with holes in the ends!!! I'm tired of buying cute socks only to have to throw them away after wearing them once or twice. Right now I've bought plain white Fruit of the Looms, and they are holding up much better...

What's your favourite brand of socks? And do you know of any that make cute socks that actually last???

I'm upset that you even consider covering your feet.

We all pay a price to look sexy.

My price is the high cost of smudged glasses I hand out to everyone around me. :p

I gave up on cute socks long ago. I buy the Hanes black tube socks for Mr Osuche and me.

That...and trouser socks, which aren't exactly warm.

Look for cute socks with a high Spandex or Lycra content...those should hold up better

How about some nice toe-socks?

I don't have a favorite brand. I just buy what looks warm and won't strangle my ankle. I don't like the styles that leave deep marks on my ankle.

First off, GREAT av PixieSprite :brows:

I wear Hanes socks working out. They hold up fairly well.

I don't have any suggestions. :(
I guess thigh-highs wouldn't work with snow shoes, eh?
