I am pretty the white filling is made of whale blubber and powdered sugar.

I know IAKG loved those pink ball things.

What about you?

Do you have a weakness for ho-ho's or ding-dongs? Or are you a twinkie traditionalist?

I like the ho-ho's too.. darn... I have nothing in the house that even resembles cake or chocolate! I must remedy that tomorrow! :) Now that the son is in college.. haha - we have a chance to have some!

When I was a freshman in college (20 years ago) Hostess made Twinkees that had a strawberry jam swirled into the cream filling and those were awesome but I haven't seen those things in years and years. Also a big fan of Hostess orange cupcakes just out of the fridge with an ice cold quart of chocolate milk.

when I was a kid, I thought I couldnt get enough of Bannana Flips,
then my dad got me a CASE of them, yes CASE, a box of boxes of them...
I tried to eat them all, decided i couldnt, eventually just the sight of one nearly made me ill.

a few years ago i decided to buy one and give them another shot,
and nearly lost it after 1 bite.


and some say you can never have too much of a good thing!!

Round my parts we have a company called TastyCake and let me tell you...OMG! I don't know why they haven't gone nation wide because they'd make a killing. It's an old company too. I know peeps who have moved to other parts of the country and will plead to loved ones back here to send them a care package of chocolate cupcakes, butterscotch krimpets, KandyKakes (peanut butter or cream and cake covered in hardened milk or dark chocolate) and anything from the TastyCake line.

Anyway...chocolate KandyKakes are my fave...and if Mr. Lixy sees this he'll start buying them for me when he grocery shops. So QUICK...bury this thread before he sees!

A friend once discribed eating a SnoBall as "like biting into a baby rabbit"...somehow I just couldn't bring myself to buy another one with that analogy in my head...
