amazingly enough, I'm still tired after 6 hours of work. I guess I shall take FWM's advice and get some rest. Do I have to go to bed alone?

(probably should, since going to bed NOT alone would lead to very little rest)

I don't want to burn myself out, though. Today went OK, took me a bit to get "back in the saddle" but felt very good about my last 3 news broadcasts, and tomorrow will be even better I'm sure.

It took all of two weeks to patch up, it seems, even though I still have a twinge of soreness in the shoulder. It's enough to remind me to not be stupid when there's ice on the ground. In hindsight, good lesson learned.

Now, I just have to put a stopper on me carrying over last year's chronic laziness! I'm supposed to be making this year different and devoting every day towards an accomplishment, but last night after work...gaaaaaaaah...I just schlepped my night away! :spank:

I never felt worse emotionally when I first went on anti-depressants but I did feel exhausted and my sex drive dropped temporarily. The exhaustion was a good thing to me as it helped me to reverse bad sleep patterns. As for the sex drive, once my body adjusted well...... :thumbs:

I will be ready for the crash over the next few days and when I get through that I hope to feel this good again :) I can't believe the difference compared with a couple of days ago.

Well, saw the consultant otolaryngologist (I don't know either!!) today, and had an endoscopic camera down my throat (yeuch), the lump palpated from inside and out simultaneously (ouch!), an ultrasound and a Fine Needle Aspiration (nippy).

All of which culminated in "It doesn't look quite right", an instruction to attend tomorrow for pre-operative assessment (for general anaesthetic purposes, I believe), prior to a biopsy and unilateral (left side) tonsillectomy next Tuesday.

Now, he says he doesn't know yet what is going on, but when talking to the lab about my ultrasound/aspiration results, he wrote down "mets" on his crib sheet....... now even as a mental health nurse, I know that ain't good!!

So I guess I'll have to wait and see what next week brings...... fingers crossed, eh?! :)

pretty good. watching the races today and took and long much neeeded nap
back still sucks but have a call in doctor and he will call me and see where we got. adjusting to new meds is going ok. so finally on the upswing.


i bought a new camera for myself as a gift. can't wait till try it. hmm maybe some pixies pics.
