I was bitching last night about the cost of gas (http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/iraq/forces/casualties/index.html).

I suppose $3 isn't such a high price to pay.

But of course, one has to wonder what the price of oil would be if the US hadn't invaded Iraq on the basis of massively manipulated disinformation.

My solution...don't drive. We have 2 oversized paperweights sitting in our driveway. :spin: If we could sell them (well, at least one of them) and get anything reasonable, we would. But as it is....LOL

We drove 40 miles in the past 2 weeks.

Lucky for her ^^^. *sigh* I have tried to cut down on my miles driven, but since it would take about three hours each way to/from work on my bike, that's not feasible. Still, walking/biking never hurt anyone, and I've tried to do that as much as possible lately.

Losing even 1 life for the sake of oil is never worth the cost of gas at any price.
To many have been lost NEEDLESSLY already.
