:line: Today I got my results back from the GED test that I had taken almost two months ago. I have been waiting like forever, and...well... I passed with a really great score!! I had studied my butt off for over two months and it really paid off for me. I am soooooooooo freaking happy. :nana:

My Sweetie took me out for strawberry margaritas and chicken wings!! :love:

Now, I get to go apply for technical school and get me an education so I can have my own business when I grow up. :cabbagep:

Just thought I would share with my Pixie family. :)

I can nearly guarantee you she won't be growing up ... I'm looking forward to the naughty schoolgirl games :spank: we can play for the next several (say, about 36!) years far, far too much!

And I'm very proud of her, too!

The parts she didn't tell you: Her average score exceeds the scores of 87% of graduating high school seniors and was a 638.

Of course that and $4 will get her a nice, Venti Mocha Java at Starbucks, but it should also give her a bit of confidence in the face of all the cocky 18-yr-olds she'll be facing.

Thanks again everyone. On the 2nd I have to go to the college to take what is called an ASSET test. I'm less worried about it now that I have the scores back from the GED, but still...I have to do math. :rolleyes2

Yes, it's a placement test. Since I'm going for the diploma program and not the associates degree I don't need to pass the algebra portion which thrills me! I should be able to pass the math basics. I'm spending the next few dates refreshing my skills to make sure. *Fingers crossed*

:) I was just looking at the clock and have to get my "school clothes" on and get out of here, so, I just have a minute to reply. I am having a great time and really enjoying myself. I even like the homework if you can believe that. :D

I have three classes that I take. Business Law, Principles of Economics, and microcomputers. I'm in class from 9:15am to 1:20pm, so that gives me plenty of time to do my other things. Like smooch my Joe :x: and try to get that kid of mine to clean her damn room at least once a month! :hair:

OK, I gotta go make my lunch! :wave:
