Steph,

We will be having the family over for the afternoon. Reconnect, swap lies, play Trivial Pursuit, and then down to the Inner Harbor for a fireworks display over the Fort.

HAPPY
FOURTH OF
JULY

We're going to get together with two couples we've known since 1966 and with whom we've celebrated the 4th of July for maybe 35 years. Joining us is our oldest daughter and her family. We'll have a picnic, play some games at a park, then head into Peoria for their riverfront fireworks display called the "Sky Concert." Should be a great day!

Hope your's is as well, Steph and everybody! Even if you're not celebrating our Independence Day, I still hope your 4th of July will be a wonderful day!

Just burgers on the grill and watching the game. My kiddos are away on vacation and it's just different without them.

We have a dear friend visiting us this week and we plan to take her to the park where we will have a picnic and watch the fireworks.

Here's a neat site if you want to generate your own fireworks. Turn your speakers on and randomly click on the screen (once it loads :)).

Cool link DB....thanks!

I went to work for 6 hours and now I'm home thinking a nap might be in order. Booger went to his Aunt and Uncle's for a bit. Gotta finish some cleaning and such. Don't think we're doing anything else. Kiddo is still in SD with her dad, hope he takes her to see fireworks tonight.

I'm not doing anything special today. It's been threatening to storm here all day so I'm glad I didn't have any outdoor plans.

we were fortunate enough to have both of my brothers here last night and so were went out to the local Amish restaurant and had a nice family meal. then the town just south of us had their fireworks display so we all watched that. "twas a good night. tonight we might go see my aunt and watch fireworks over in her town.

I guess North Korea (http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapcf/07/04/korea.missile/index.html) wanted to celebrate too!
