Ok...need some goodies that will get rid of this damn cold i have picked up

I've got 12 days to make it disappear....they will not put me under a general anaesthetic while i have it.....and the thought of doing it with just local quite frankly terrifies me (but as this is the best time for me to have it...that is what will have to happen)

HELP!!!!

Docs always say that you can take something for a cold & be cured in 7 days, or take nothing & feel better in a week...

Seriously, my advice is to give yourself a day or two to get thru the worst of it, let the virus run its course...stressing out or overdoing it may only make you vunerable to some secondary infection that will screw up your plans to...

...waaaaait a minute, you're going into the hospital AGAIN!?!?
:yikes:

Alasse, it should only last a week if it is truly only a cold.

Re-infection is your problem if it's lasting longer than that.

Please place Bilbo and the kids in individual air-tight (preferably Tupperware) containers and

place them in a safe place for between five and seven days.

Retrieve when feeling better and prepare for surgery.

OTC remedies containing zinc will help. Spose to lessen the duration.

The "hot" cold medicines have always worked well for me, and Alka-Seltzer makes a fast acting cold medicine that has been good too. But these only treat the symptoms so you don't feel as miserable while it's running it's course. Lots of rest, lots of fresh air and don't forget to eat.
