Have you ever seen some one stealing? What was your response?

Oh...YO! (<---said it so they heard)
They heard me...and continued on their way. Scurrying through the store. I wondered if the cams got them? Was never sure. I just knew I could NEVER do it. Mom taught me that lesson when I was 4. I stole make-up from a friends older sister's room once. Hid it for 3 days. Mom found it and made me tell her where I got it. Took me to their house, knocked on the door and faced the Mom. SHITTTTTTTTTTTT! Never stole another thing again!

Why am I thinking of Jane's Addiction right now?
Only time I can recall seeing a shoplifting incident just reinforced my belief that the "anti-shoplifting" alarm systems stores place in the doorways do nothing but keep honest people honest...in Walgreen's one day, heard that loud "BOOPBOOPBOOP" go off & looked up in time to see someone take off running outside, followed by a couple of store employees run out after...they were back in less than 30 seconds, obviously the thief(ves) were able to outrun them & disappear in the apt complex in back of the store...whenever I make a purchase, & they forget to cancel the anti-theft tag on some item I've bought, I barely slow down anymore...I'm almost hoping someone will tackle me so I can show my receipt, & sue the pants off of Kmart or whoever...

Wow.
Dearsweet and I did to our son what LixyChick's mom did to her. I'm hoping it was as successful with him as it was with her. :)

Yes. My response? Well, at the time I was working security at a mall while I was finishing college....so I cuffed him and stuffed him.

Why, yes, Lilith, just last week I caught PF trying to sneak out of your bedroom with all your panties.
I made him share, of course.

/me snickers
Lemony Nickers?
And a series of unfortunate pants?
But I digress...
I saw a young teen clumsily stuff a box of donuts into his baggy shirt. I discreetly walked up to him (for fear he'd bolt on me) and told him "You're obviously not very good at this...if you decide to go through with it, you're starting down a path to somewhere you don't want to end up." Then I went on with my shopping. Don't know how it turned out, but I might be better off not knowing. I'm an optimist, and hate having my positive thoughts disproven.

Caught in PF's mouth, the pants were probably very unfortunate.
I saw my older Bro stuff a bunch of D&D modules in his shirt and get busted on his way out of the hobby shop. They just kicked him out without calling the police.
He was nice enough to call out to us (my other bro and me) and make sure the store employees knew had been there together. I suppose he wanted us to get in trouble too, but they didn't say anything to us.
