Word on the news this morning ... the Iraqi Prime Minister, and other Iraqi and US authorities have confirmed the death of Abbu Massad Al Zarqawi in an attack stemming from intelligence reports. Al Zarqawi is the terrorist responsible for many brutal attacks and beheadings in Iraq and Jordan.

Justice has been served, yet I will not celebrate the loss of human life... no matter how vile.

While Iraq will be better off without him, keep in mind that even Hercules needed help to kill the Hydra.

Ok, I have to do this.....

When al-Zargawi died he was met at the Pearly Gates by George Washington, who slapped him across the face and yelled, "How dare you try to destroy the nation I helped conceive!!"

Patrick Henry approached, punched him in the nose and shouted, "You wanted to end our liberties and failed"

James Madison followed, kicked him in the groin and said, 'this is why I allowed our government to provide for the common defense!"

Thomas Jefferson was next, beat al-Zargawi with a long cane and snarled, "It was evil men like you who inspired me to write the Decleration of Independence."

The beatings and thrashings continued as George Mason, James Monroe and 66 other early Americans unleashed their anger on the terrorist leader.

As al-Zargawi lay bleeding in pain, an Angel appeared. al-Zargawi wept and said, "This is not what you promised me."

The Angel replied, "I told you there would be 72 Virginians waiting for you in Heaven. What did you think I said?"

^^^^ Ouch....

I'm with Aqua, I'll not celebrate...but I do take comfort in knowing that I have to share my oxygen with one less waste of humanity...

Good riddance to that piece of shit. May he rot in hell for all eternity.

(dances)

As for the hundred Zarqawis ready to take his place...Satan has plenty of room for you.

This is among few events I have been pleased to see occur in the country of Iraq in the past 3 years. Such a barbarian has no place on planet Earth.

Bardog's joke...that's probably what's happening to that sumbitch right now...on his way to the ground floor.

...and what awaits his evil pals when they have next.

When will these people understand that you don't have to like, love or even be neutral about your neighbours,

just respect their right to exist and perhaps be assholes and get on with your own life.

Love is not the answer, tolerance is.

I just don't think the situation is as black-and-white as a lot of people are making it out to be.

Zarqawi was a bad man, as was Saddam for what he did to his own people. However, you've also got to take into consideration the things which cause them to act this way. They don't wake up one day and suddenly decide to declare war on the West, there are underlying factors in this 'war' which a lot of people are unfortunately blind to.

I just hope no more innocent people die.

Satyriasis,

I'm sure we all agree about that.

If the last report I heard is true, he was still alive laying on a stretcher and looked up and saw that he was in the custody of the US Forces. Gawd, I would have loved to have been there and seen the look on his face!

I hope he is enjoying his life after death in hell!!!!!

bare4you,

Yes, I read that also. It must have been a low point in his career. :)

I take no pleasure from his death, i have no feeling towards it, yes he was a evil man that done evil things but was he worse that Blair or Bush? Fighting a "war on base that there is oil under the soil were they have sent the innocent men and women to die...........
