ok pf, this is strictly a question from my cousin. he has been going out with a girl for about 1 year and a half. they broke up once after about 5 months because he joined the military and while he was gone she cheated on him. he came home and took her back. they got engaged about 3 months after they got back together. about 8 months later she broke up with him again and called off the engagement(almost completely sure cheating wasnt involved). they stayed broke up for two months and are now back together. everything is going great between them so far. he loves the girl a lot and she seems to have changed. tips and opinions on what he should think or if they have a fighting chance of staying together.?

i think if he's happy theres nothing much to think, if he starts to think about stuff its just going to spoil the relationship, I'd say just take it as it comes and deal with the bumps in the road when you hit them....

If they're going to stay togehter, i strongly reccommend couple's therapy and pre-marital counseling (I'm assuming they are going to get engaged again). They just need to make sure a) that she has really changed and b) they are compatable.

How long have they been back together this time?

If she finds breaking up with him so easy that she can do it time and again, what's to stop it happening again.

Tell him to enjoy the "Ride" but wait on the marriage.

since the last breakup he has changed a lil bit as well....use to he would hang on every word and jump to her slgihtest whim....now he don't. i think that drives her crazy lol. in my eyes she use to have control over their relationship now it looks like it is more balanced.
