Well, this may bore most of you, but it was absolutely beautiful here today (74 F) and after I picked my son up at school we grabbed some food and headed to my favorite place. I thought I would share a few pics with you.

Beautiful pictures. Looking forward to getting back out to the parks for a picnic, too. My daughters and wife and I are considering a spring picnic at Allerton Park south of Champaign, IL near Monticello. Fantastic place.

Not boring at all!
Today is going to be record breaking in the warmth department round here too. Too bad I won't have time for a picnic.
Thanks for sharing TT!
What fun! Way to go! Glad you took good advantage of the family time and the weather.

While I was hoping to see something nekkid (preferably YOU), those pics are anything but boring...Nature bestowed so much beauty to the Volunteer State, it would be a crime not to share the view with our friends...I'm not familiar with that particular dam, but I did notice that it must be another TVA project, due to the high-power lines running directly from it...
Glad you were able to enjoy the nice weather yesterday, unfortunately is was no picnic here in the midstate...severe storms tried to blow us away last night, maybe more on that in another thread...

Quite senic, not boring at all. Though i will add that perhaps sometime soon, you should leave the kid at home and use the river for skinny-dipping.
