I haven't read Dilbert in a couple of years... I need to go back to it. I pulled up today's comic and giggled. Before the evolution of Dilbert I adored Calvin and Hobbes.

No, Dilbert doesn't remind me of anyone at all.

:D

I'm not sure when I grew up and stopped making it a habit to read the funnies. Baby Blues and For Better or Worse used to be among those I made a point to check out, especially as I started having children of my own.

I am CONVINCED that Scott Adams used to work at my company. Utterly convinced!

Dilbert; used to love The Far Side and Pogo; still like Family Circus and The Lockhorns. Actually, I also like Hagar, Dagwood, and Beetle Bailey ... not to mention Peanuts. :)

Calvin And Hobbes... my favorites. I made my youngest son a Hobbes costume that he wore for two Halloweens when he was younger.

How could I forget C&H! They're fantastic. And, now that you mention it ... Speed Racer; Dastardly and Muttley; and Johnny Quest. Three more classics!

Calvin and Hobbes and the Far Side are my very favoritest!

Dilbert is one I love to read, though I don't read any comics faithfully anymore. Often when I read Dilbert I simply smile and nod. :p

Used to be I couldn't start ny day without a perusal of the funny papers, now I just don't seem to have the time, but...
maybe it was the demise of the Far Side & Calvin & Hobbs in short order, followed by my local paper's decision to move Dilbert to the Business Section(?) that broke me of the habit...my current fav (when I get around to it) would be Get Fuzzy, a wonderfully surreal world of a man with a Sharpai(sp?) & a psychopathic Siamese cat (isn't that redundant?), a close second would be Zits, having just gotten thru the teen years with my own Jeremy, now I have version 2.0 just entering his teens...

p.s. Lilith, what was the Dilbert strip & how & who did it remind you of? Maybe one of the reasons I don't go chase down Dilbert anymore is I'm no longer a wage slave, & so I no longer can relate to the truths that Mr Adams reveals anymore...

It was one where the tech guy was asking why the puter was filled with porn when the good stuff was on the company server :D
