If someone was going to cook you a romantic dinner, say for Valentine's, what would be on the menu?

Actually I would do the cooking - and it would be whatever she wants - that's just the kind of guy I am

How about some really good seabass, or some great sushi? Asparagus, or a salad. Warm and crusty Italian bread with LOTS of flavored olive oil.

Chocolates for dessert, or maybe some tiramisu.

And lots and lots of really good red wine (yes, I know fish and white...but I LIKE red)

I'm going to get back to you on this one .... at the moment, I'm craving so many different foods that I don't think I could narrow it down to just one meal's worth!

hmmmmm I'd cook

set the table and have candles lit all around the dining area

and Mayhem would be my plate, laying down in the center of the table, nekkid!

seriously, though, for a real meal romantic just for two type would be:

Mayhem and i are both great cooks, so the meal would be prepared by us both. We wouldn't be in any rush to get it done, just taking our time, laughing and enjoying one another's company.
Then we would sit down on pillows on the floor, and use a coffee table as our dinner table. (sorry Sweetie, but the telly would be switched off) The meal would be lit by long taper candles at each end of the table, lest wax get into our food and the candle stick blocks our view of each other's faces.
The actual food?? It doesn't really matter, could be something as simple as steak and potatoes and messy corn on the cob and pints of beer, or a truely gourmet as what Gordon Ramsey would serve and a complementary wine. Doesn't matter to me, as long as i am with him.

Babe i love that idea. And dont worry about the telly. I think that some soft music on the stereo would be a lot better.

Had you thought about some pasta perhaps, fun to cook and fun to eat.

soft music is great, just as long as it isn't *shudders* Kenny-G and his pals

pasta, eh? A-la "Lady and the Tramp" noodles? I'd love it!

My absolutely perfect menu would contain goats cheese, basil and caramelised red onion, so perhaps some kind of tartlet or warm salad to start.

Maincourse would probably have to be some kind of beef tornado with red wine jus (had the most amazing tornadoes in London years ago, and it remains my mission to repeat the experience) served with saute potatoes and whatever vegetables are in season.

Dessert would probably be one of my homemade melting chocolate puddings with whipped cream.

Only trouble is, after a meal like that, I'd not be able to move, so sex would be out of the question! Plus Fussy would hate the starter so I'd have to do him something different.....oh it would all just get too complicated! LOL
