I went downstairs a few minutes ago to make myself a (instant) coffee..... and found I was pouring the water in before I'd put in the coffee and sugar!

This got me wondering (apart from the obvious "Am I going senile?" LOL) if any of you guys ever do stuff like that...... another example I have is a day recently when I got up and, because it was still dark out, forgot it was morning and went back to bed! (That one wasn't SO bad though, because herself came back from doing the horses and...... well, you can guess!! :D)

Anyone got any more?

Well.....let's put it this way. Has anyone ever heard of someone who has a pair of glasses on their head, another pair on the front of their shirt and finally a pair on their face...........who is still seeking out their glasses in the house?

That would be me and it is only one of the many quirks that have developed as I have "matured"......:).

BIBI, sounds like the time that i had one glove on and the other in my gloved hand, and searched high and low for the "other" glove.

Next it will be your jacket that is on your back that you can't find! Done that too.

In fact I probably could fill this thread...:)

It was a daily routine for me to check where my son put stuff....dirty glass in the fridge and milk in the cupboard....peanut buttered knife back in the drawer, and god help him if he had put his shoes in the closet lol.

More times than I'm comfortable admitting...

I've gone into the bathroom to brush my teeth after a meal, and realize I brought my plate with me from the dining room table.

I've searched the house for my keys to the point of frustration before deciding they're lost and gone forever. When I leave the house...they're sticking out of the doorknob.

Oh yeah...I've left my desk/office/building in the middle of a replying to a post. :D

I've tried to put the milk in the cupboard after pouring a glass.

I've brushed my teeth, put make-up on and then brushed my teeth again. I was tired that morning.

I hate putting on lipstick then remembering to brush my teeth

I learned many years ago that if I don't get out my work clothes the night before, I will end up wearing things that don't really match - and that was true even when I wore a uniform to work every day!

I've made coffe then gone back a little while later to find a pot of hot water forgot to put the coffee in.

When working in my shop I'll lay a tool down then I swear a gremlin will run up and get it and move it to the other side of the shop.where I haven't been! Now they are starting to sneak into the house! Now where did I set that cup of hot water?

Go to the store and then, for the life of me, not remember why. : dizzy :

Hey, at least I got to the store.

There've been times I went out to the car and started driving only to realize, I wasn't sure where it was I had wanted to go. :)

Popped home from the place I do my drama one day to collect something I'd forgotten, then drove half way to work before I realised it was a Saturday and I was meant to be going back to the community centre for the rest of the rehearsal!

Mr. Osuche was in the process of helping me drop my car off at the mechanic one time...and I drove to my mother in law's place rather than to the mechanic. Left him waiting at the shop for about 45 minutes, as I'd forgotten my cell phone.

That's what hppens when we drive in auto-pilot.

Happens a lot at work. I change thread colors all day long. I have to change both the machine thread and the bobbin thread. More times than not I have taken the color off that I don't need and start sewing with what is left of the old color, only to run that through to the end and look around and find my new color sitting on my table (laughing at me) and nothing left on the machine or bobbin but air! It's infuriating when I'm sewing leather cause now I have a bunch of holes to duplicate or call the piece ruined if I miss any! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Oh yeah.. I've got auto-pilot.
This happened quite awhile ago, but I had come down sick and called in to let work know I was staying home, yet I still had to drop off the child at school. So off we go and I drop off the kid... and proceed to drive halfway to work before realizing where I'm headed. I took the next exit and got my ass back home.

Ok ive poured oj on my breakfast instead of milk.. BUT the best one was i made a cup of tea with a one-cup tea bag. Boiled the kettle, poured the hot water in, stirred it, went back to sit down, picked the cup up to drink it. Thought it tasted a little odd then realised id forgotten to put the darn teabag in. lol lol. I actually sat there for a min or so wondering what was wrong
