If you stretch a bunch of them around an open shoe box, you can make a guitar.

As a kid we would get a bunch of rubber bands from the mailman to make sling-shots

If you loop them right, they can hang ornaments.

You can use them to smack the smart-arse who knows the other million applications.

In jail when you grind down the end of a toothbrush to taper it and attach a piece of razor blade with elastics.....nice and tight so you have a sturdy little shank. LMAO

CSI.....very informative

If you wrap a lot of bands around a shoebox and then attach a razor blade, do you have a cutting edge musical instrument?

You can use them to smack the smart-arse who knows the other million applications.
or smack the person who asked for a list of said million?

You can tie dye t-shirts with them...

If you lose/break one of the arms (aka-temple) on your reading glasses you can slip one end through the screw hole, loop it through itself, and loop the other end over your ear...in a pinch...

You can loop a bunch together and dangle them from your door in true hippie fashion...

You can put them around hard boiled eggs in a random pattern and dip the eggs in food coloring at Easter...(be sure to roll the dipped egg on a dry paper towel to sop up the drips before removing the bands to let the egg dry on the rack or in the carton)...

Then there's the sexual things I'm thinking about...*hmmmm*

P.S. Just curious wyndhy. Did you inherit an excess of rubber bands or something?

you can...

use them wrapped around the end of a candle to make it fit in the holder
make a gigantic rubber band ball
Can be used to power toys, such as airplanes, without electricity.
Can be flung at someone/something, therefore it has uses as a weapon.
Can be used as a stylish bracelet or anklet.
If long enough, it can also be used as a necklace.
Can double as an effective eraser.
Can be used to hold a bunch of objects, such as pencils, together.
Can be used as an effective catapult.
Can be used to smash/break delicate objects (if shot with sufficient force).
Can be used to mimic the effects of a helicopter blade for study (if used in the right way).

Can be used to measure depth of transparent liquids.
Can be used over a wide temperature range from -80°C to +300°C! (-120°F to 572°F)
Can be used to insulate small amounts of electricity, conductive or anti-static.
Can be used to reduce heat transfer with its low thermal conductivity.
It has friction properties similar to human skin and is therefore comfortable to grip, therefore it can relieve stress .
Can be used, with some engineering modifications, as a means of propulsion for very light crafts.
Can hold one object to another without the release of either object.
Can stretch, therefore it can be used to absorb kinetic energy.
Can be used in an endless amounts of scientific experiments, either about or not about elasticity. .
Can be used as a source of endless amusement and boredom relief.
Can be used as handcuffs (not to effective though)
Can be used as a musical instrument.
Can relieve tension.
Can hold ponytails or pigtails, thus mimicking a hairclip.
