And John Lennon's messages are still pertinent. Imagine...where he'd be today.
Well for starters....he would have been 65 years old.

And I owe him.
Inspiration he’d never know or like.
~Side Fact~
I had, 15 years earlier, come out of the Service with the required attitude of self-protection and carried a piece ALL the time, but gradually became lax and would only have it with me on occasions. After this day, 25 years ago, it re-ran the “wackos are out there” thought and I became more consistent Exactly one week later, I left my plant at 20:00 in a secluded industrial area and was confronted by two men with a gun pointed at me. Long story short- It ended with two VERY long minutes of rolling around, 3 broken ribs and I had shot them both. (one survived)

For me - I just don't get the John Lennon thing....He was a musical genius along with the rest of the Beatles, but I don't quite agree with everything else. Guess I am wierd that way.
Your not weird bare4you....just realistic about how the man John Lennon differed from the artist.

I remember when he was shot...I was about 4-5 and my parents were crushed. I remember running to my room and crying about the death of some man I didn't know...but who was obviously important
