FOR THANKSGIVING......?
I personally will be working....and waiting. While all the families are getting together and eating then watching TV and drinking. I will be sitting by the phones waiting for someone to
1) choke on food :faint:
2) set the kitchen on fire :hot:
3) get so mad over the football game they beat each other up...
4) or get so drunk the family just wants them out of the house.
Yes I work at the local police department answering 911....So yall have a safe holiday and just know I will be on duty so yall can enjoy yourselves.
OH so what are yall gonna do?

I'm cooking for 4. Usually we go to one or the other in-laws, but I want some leftovers this year and so we are staying home.
The amount of people might change...but I'm still doing the cooking. All the traditional stuff!

Cooking a quasi traditional meal... and doing home repair... I'm having my built in long distance handyman (Dad) stay with me for part of the week.

Our plans still aren't made, but regardless of guests or not...I'll be doing all the cooking. My parents may come over, but that kinda depends on what kind of shape I can whip this house into in the next week & a half. :rolleyes2
We'll do a turkey with stuffing (inside, of course, because the salmonella makes it moist & tender), mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry relish, homemade bread, and I think I'll try my hand at sweet potato casserole. For dessert, there'll be way too many pies. ha ha
Anybody ever see a Holly Hunter movie called "Home for the holidays"? It's centered around a daughter's return home to celebrate a completely dysfunctional family's Thanksgiving. I swear, there's a little of everyone's family touched upon. ha ha
Just staying home and cooking for the three of us. I might go over and raid my sisters table later on since I don't plan on getting any pies.

HEading back to Ohio...where I am sure we will have a bizarre Indian Thanksgiving. My MIL always adds curry to the turkey because she thinks it's BLAND. :yikes:
Other than that, I will bake some pies....as Mr. Osuche will be crushed if we don't have pumpkin pie for dessert

My family always heads over to my aunt's house, so there will be like 45 people in the same house that I'm somehow related to, it's like a Steven King holiday lol
