I spend my life at the moment drifting between Adelaide and Canberra... i live in adelaide, but study in Canberra, spend about 6 months in each place a year.

no need to argue, i have not been in darwin during cyclone season, i worked at 16 mile radio station about 2 years after tracey and i could not belive how many blocks still had what was left of the owners house from tracey, i assumed the owners had goon to the southen states in the mass exodus and not returned. still the only town smart enough to have a mens cloths store directly opposite the casino

Not any more. The Casino's now down at Mindil Beach and the only thing close to it is the Tennis Club.

The old (temporary) Casino at the Don Hotel became just another sleazy joint.

Throw "sky city casino darwin" into Google for some shots of the thing now.

Strangely enough, it doesnt snow reguarly in Adelaide, like it does in canberra, but i feel the cold more here in adelaide than i do in canberra... must be something to do with wet cold vs. dry cold...
