Oh God,
Into Your Hands,
Their Souls Were Delivered

We Pray to You
For Their Peace

And for the comfort and protection of their loved ones left behind.

From a NY Times Op-ed:

"Look up from this newspaper you are reading, ignore the morning traffic you may find yourself in tomorrow, turn off the television one day this week and watch the moon. Think of the dead of 9/11 and of Hurricane Katrina. Stay there a moment. Remember them." --Alice Sebold, author of "The Lovely Bones."

At this time, four years ago, many of us sat with a cocked head like a dog, staring at our TVs. How could we know the lose and tragedy of that day had only begun. America had no reference. Now we can remember. :(

The day not only America but the world lost its innocence and a lot of good people lost their lives, images that are etched in our minds for every, may we never forget....

I remember this day four years ago as if it were yesterday. The fear and saddness aren't quite as intense now...but still lingering...NEVER to be forgotten!

*moment of silence for the victims and their loved ones who have since carried on*

I am watching ABCE... as they read the names... what a horrible tragedy... makes my heart heavy to think of all those lost... and those who have had to endure without them...

I will never forget 9/11, just as the generation before will never forget Pearl Harbor.

God Bless the souls of those who were lost, and those who mourn their loss. God Bless our brave troops who work so hard and risk so much to keep us safe. God Bless the families of our troops; their sacrifice is sacred.
