View Full Version : Best dating memory(ies) ...
Answering a question in BigBear57's thread just brought back some good memories .... and I was just wondering .... what is/are some of your best memories on a date? share any part you'd like, what you did, how you felt, why it was such a good date, who you were with, etc. I'd love to hear about it .... and reliving good memories always feels good to me .... hope it does for you as well!

Most of my best dating memories include food. :D A nice restaurant, a nice meal, sharing from his plate, good posture, best behaviour (this reminds me of PF's elegance thread :D) . . .
My coolest date might have been agreeing to meet at Cape Spear (the most easterly point in North America) to watch the sun rise.

One of my best dating memories involved a good night kiss, on a dark night with a sky full of stars, standing in my driveway propped up against his trans am, that lasted for 3 hours.

One of my best dating memories started out (earlier in the day) to be a nightmare.
I had a date with the guy who would eventually be my first husband. I had cramps that day and Mom thought she had some meds that could help. She had a new prescription for pain pills, and she gave me two to try. I thought I was having a stroke! My face and hands began to swell and felt real stiff. Then the redness set in all over my body. I called for Mom to help and then I began to pass out and lose control of some bodily functions (if ya know what I mean). It was a BAD allergic reaction and there is a lesson here...but I'm sure you don't need me to preach it.
Later that evening, I was still a bit swollen and red and didn't think I could keep the date...but Mom insisted (she loved my first hubby). I put on foundation make-up (I don't ever wear it) to hide the remaining swelling and redness and met my ex at the door in a darkened hallway. I told him what happened and he said that instead of going to a lighted restaurant (as he knew how uncomfortable I was) we could go to a movie and Mickey D's drive-thru instead. It was one of the most romantic gestures ever made towards me because it was made to ease my tension.
I have more great memories...but no time this morning! BBL peeps!
Great thread fzzy!
