Preferably about 10...

I just had a very long day that is ending with me very frustrated and annoyed. :bang:  :trout: :box: :hair:

What do you do to de-stress at the end of a bad day?

I generally just chill out with my two cats, they are always loving and know when im down, a little cat purring on your lap will get rid of ANY amount of stress

FallenAngel5~ I went out to destress with my girlfriends. I find spending time with them makes all my stresses seem less important. I had margaritas and chocolate and that doesn't hurt either ;)

This is going to sound cheesy, but piano is my destress. I've played since I was 10 and it clears my mind of just about everything - at least momentarily.

Piano is a good one. I've done that, too. Going for a long walk helps, too.

Guitar for me and I'll grab a book for other times. When that doesn't work I'll see if there's a chat friend online. Sometimes just somebody to air things out with helps a lot.

A long walk or reading a good fiction book

I hit the gym. Or the bottle. Sometimes B after A if the day has really sucked.

All  accepted.

Did I mention a nice 2002 South Australian Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot?

If not, I shall.

It depends on the source of the stress. When I come home stressed from work, an hour with the kids helps tremendously. When home is the stress...an hour with the kids might bring the police. It's then that I head to a home improvement project that requires patience, or I'll head to the kitchen to make something...anything. I find cooking very therapeutic.

I work out when I am really stressed. Then, I come home and hit the booze (not to excess, though). I sleep like a baby that night and wake up ready to try life again.

I either cut & split firewood or work in the veggie garden......... nobody follows me to either place so I can vent alone!
