What's your favorite thing to throw on the grill?

I need some easy yet tasty ideas.

Steak is always a favorite around the house here. Can't cook chicken to save my butt and I hate fish!

Me, I go for the 1/4 lb frozen burgers from Kroger, light the gas grill & let it get good & hot, while I defrost the burgers a little in microwave, splash a little worchestershire & salt on the patties...put some fire to those all-beef babies, & for the last step...slap some cheese on em...

sadly, it's already hotter'n Hell out, so I think I'll just stay under the a/c & order pizza online...

Catfish.....put some tin foil down on the grill and add just a hint of butter and some cajun spice mix :slurp:

Asparagus....cook it until it's slightly charred and I'll be yours for life

Corn.....still in its husk.....sans butter and salt...au naturel is the way to go!

I'll second the Cajun catfish... it's a big hit here. My son asks for it regularly.

OOOoooOOOO I love any sort of beef on the grill from burgers to steak. I also like a good boneless chicken breast, with or without the bbq sauce ... and boneless pork chops, YUM! And there's nothing quite like a Johnsonville Brat on the grill. I can't wait to have my grill out of storage.

We love boneless skinless chicken breasts on the grill... I put them in a baking dish and marinate them in low salt soy sauce overnight...the kids just love it and they turn out soooooooooo tender.

I also like sliced mushrooms with butter and garlic powder in a foil pouch on the grill.. :D

Foil pouch! That's the phrase that wouldn't come to me. TY Cheyanne!

Any veggies with some buttah in a foil pouch is heavenly -- potatoes, onions, red onions (yes, red onions, Chey :D), red peppers, mmmmmmm

Tiger prawns skewered and marinated in lemon juice, sugar, garlic and a tiny touch of chopped fresh chillis.....done on a really hot, but not flaming grill so the sugar blackens and goes a little caramelised....mmmmm

Or mix tandoori spices with natural yoghurt and smother over skewered chicken, and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over....perfect hot or cold.

And for desert...

Bananas slit and stuffed with good quality dark chocolate, wrapped in foil and barbecued....serve with a splash of Grand Marnier, or Cointreau and fresh cream.

Hmm....no wonder I'm never going to be a supermodel!!!!

Ribs, Beef roast, Country style ribs, boneless skinless chicken breast, Johnsonville Brats......even hot dogs and hambugers. I love 'em all!!! Luckily I'm not the one that has to do the cooking. :D:D:D

Just prior to going away, I marinaded boneless & skinless chicken breasts in Raspberry Walnut Vinegarette, then grilled them. The key is to dunk them in the marinade when you flip them on the grill. Damn they were great! Plus, it's simple because of using bottled dressing. What took a little more work that same meal was the potatoes. I parboiled new potatoes until slightly tender then cut them in half & tossed them in a mixture of olive oil, red wine vinegar, rosemary, salt, pepper and spicy brown mustard. Once coated, I sprayed the top shelf of the grill with cooking spray and spread out the potatoes. OMG...I must do that again! Not only did I like it...everyone else did too! Now that's a litmus test! :D

It might be easier to get a personal chef. Preferably a tall, balding Irish one. ;)

I'll have to wear an apron to protect them then. :D
