Water ice has been photographed in a crater near Mars' north pole! The pictures were made by the High Resolution camera on Mars Express, ESA’s satellite which is orbiting the planet.

Most astonishing to me was the swell close-up of Martian life near the frozen water ...
Someone doesn't appear too happy with earthlings finding out about this..... ;)
