He (his ashes) should be the first thing that gets sent in the teleporter thingy they are developing that uses the vacuum thingy like at the bank.

NASA needs toget the Enterprise back from the Smithsonian and put it in service. That would be the best vehicle other than :teleport:

My favorite too... although I had always wanted to try to break Spock from all logic before his 7 years were up...

I just read this... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8647281/ it appears that his final wishes will eventually come to fruition.. his ashes will be sent to space.. :D

In his honor, a nice Scottish joke I heard earlier tonite:

once there were 3 men passing a field
1 Englishman
1 Maori
1 Scot

they pass a cow in the field and the Englishman says "that be an English cow ..can't you see it's white"
The Maori says "that be a Maori cow ..can't you see it's black!"
The Scotsman says "..nae laddies that'll be a scotish cow...can't ye see her bagpipes!.."

In the Star Trek Next Generation story where Scotty was found, the last survivor

of a ship crash, trapped in a transporter buffer, he made the point (eventually)that

you always had to look forward or you lose yourself in your past.

Onward and higher, Mr Scott.

Rest in peace Mr. Doohan. I heard this news the morning I left on vacation and was bummed I wasn't here to post and read the other posts I knew were coming.
