Waking up without a partner, not having somebody to enjoy a movie with, not having anybody to ask when you run out of clean socks and other things are well known to those of us that live alone.:( But there are some very definite advantages also. :D
You don’t have to close the door when you take a shower and turn the bathroom into a sauna because of a house full of people. :D The AC or heating vents only have to be open in the room you’re in. :D You don’t have to worry about the seat being down (or up) in the middle of the night. Your bed may not be warmer in the winter, but it’s no hotter in the summer. :D Drinking from the orange juice or milk carton doesn’t start an international incident. :D
What are some of the advantages of living alone that you realize or miss?
Being able to throw a scoop of berries on top and eating that much from the ice cream carton isn’t a bad thing either. ;)

I miss eating when I'm hungry, and deciding whether or not I feel like cooking.

I love being able to walk around naked at my leisure, be it from the bathroom to my room after I shower, or just around the house as I wish.
I also love that the house is spotlessly clean, and I don't have to clean up after anyone else! :)

Rolling over and not worrying about the other person not having covers.

Open doors... I love being able to have all the doors open in my house without worries of who might wander in where...
I also love being able what I want, where I want, when I want...
And knowing that if I want to be a slob and leave a mess no one will yell at me for it.

No arguing, no being made to feel guilty because the house or yard aren't perfect. Being lazy if I want.

Feel kind of left out. I've never lived alone. Got married when I was 21 and moved from my parents' house to living with the wife.

* Being able to play at Pixies whenever I want
* Being able to enjoy absolute silence to my heart's content
* Eating fresh cherries and a can of fruit cocktail for dinner....nothing else....is OK
* Having time to really consider the issues and thoughts that are important to me
* Being able to *choose* when I want to be social -- all I have to do is leave the house. ;)
* Singing at the top of my lungs when I feel like it :D

From when i lived alone to now is really no different *LOL*
Well except for one thing...only cleaning up after 1 is a damn sight more appealing than cleaning up after 4!!
I can set the temperature to my comfort zone and not worry about someone else changing it!
On the weekends, I can do as much OR as little as I want and there's no one to say that their clothes didn't get washed, or .... (whatever)
I don't have to make conversation when I just want to sit and enjoy the quiet.
The remote is ALWAYS mine! :D

You know, all the things mentioned are really great and maybe missed sometimes ... but, sentimental ol' me ... wouldn't want to trade my wife in for all of them. She really is the most precious person in my life.

Not much different to now, but I only have myself and my girlfriend/partner/future missus
here so the modesty thing is not there.
Keeping them hidden from each other is the real trick.

Nice man boobs, PF!! :D :D
I can read in bed and not worry about the lights keeping him awake. I can fall asleep with the TV or radio on without one of those international incidents.
