I saw that BI BI had intended to go yard sailing ( bummer on the rain).

It's already just 3-4 weeks til school starts here again. I'm going hunting bargains for the school year.

Anybody else got any weekend plans? Anybody seeing Willie Wonka or picking up Harry Potter?

Plan on taking the boys to see Fantastic 4 and my youngest son (13) was at Books-A-Million last night at midnight with his step-mom to get his copy of the new Harry Potter book.

<---also enjoyed Fantastic Four. :)

I'm *packing,* of course; this morning I have already worked on the garage, had my hair cut, ordered new glasses, dropped off seven bags at the Salvation Army, stopped by and made an appointment/talked with a friend, and now am at work. :)

I'm also tired.

I'm just getting caught up on the sleep I've lost in the past week or so.

I saw a friend DJ last night, I'm going to a friend of a friend's art exhibit some time today & will be going to a friend of a friend's BBQ tomorrow.

I'll probably eat a lot and walk the dog, too. :)

I'm not going to do movies on the weekend because I like hitting weekday matinees when the theatres are less crowded. I'm probably going to have to see "Wedding Crashers" on the big screen for those two sexxxy men.

We are picking up a kitty today. We'll try and post a pic in the pet thread tonight. We seem to be having brief showers on and off. Thunder woke the child this am. We all slept in late. We'll wait for a bit to see Willy Wonka until the crowds go down.

So far, I have been successful in my plans to avoid the rampaging crowds trying to pick up their copy of HP&TH-BP.

My wife and I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last Friday. Wasn't sure I even wanted to go ... and ended up loving it. Johnny Depp once again did a fantastic job. That guy is sure talented. The show will probably ... no ... more than that ... surely be destined to enter our DVD collection when it comes out. ;)

Also saw the Fantastic 4. It was fun and action packed. Not sure I'd go back to the theatre to see it again, but we enjoyed seeing it this time.
