It's a zillion degrees and sooooo sticky here. A skunk just sprayed his lovely scent near here so that's filling the air.
Have you guys been sleeping through the night?
When you wake up do you attempt nookie? :D
Give the insomniac some details!

Well, yes, I have been sleeping okay. Never sleep too many hours ... maybe 5 or 6 a night; always wake up early; have the air conditioner running to keep the house cool in the middle of a heat wave; and, generally will let the wife sleep (especially when I've go to go to work anyway). Whew ... was that everything? Besides, when else would I have had time to load that friggin' trailer? :D

It's going down to about 17-20C overnight at the moment.
Bloody penguins chattering outside the door are soooooooo annoying.

Steph,
The ball game ran late last night, so I slept in today. Not only is it hot, but the humidity is very high! Wouldn't dream of touching the Missus under these circustances.

ROFLMAO I'm hoping Alasse can provide some pics of polar bears soon!
I was up early, too. I'll sleep sometime, I suppose.
I walked by my old apartment and saw that they installed A/C & I thought, "Wimps!" I bet they don't have bags under their eyes, though. :D

it ususally takes me awhile to fall asleep. lately i've been heading up to bed around 11 and finally falling asleep around midnight. we have a/c though, so it's not that, i've just
always been that way. and no, we don't usually wake up and go at it in the wee hours of the morning. :D
if it's true insomnia then you need a dr.'s help...if it's stress, i recommend trying to keep your mind on one thing and one thing only. i like to design things in my head...rooms, homes, funiture...that kind of stuff. a little hot milk may help and there are non-habit forming sleep aids out there now.

It was so hot last night that I didn't get to sleep till 5 in the damn morning.
I have an AC, but it's so humid that I have no hope.

I've had a hard time sleeping lately. Our schedules are just all off whack now and I'm up and down all night long. Usually up in the middle of the night to turn on the ceiling fan because it's just too hot for the a/c to do all the work.
No nookie going on in the middle of the night at IWM's house--it's more like "scoot over, it's hot in here"....

I would never let anyone touch me under these circumstances! It's more like "get the hell off of me, I'm sweating." lol

Lately I've been so tired that not sleeping isn't a problem. Hell, it's not even an option! ha ha
A while ago, I posted a thread about hot, steamy nights...but right now we're more interested in cranking the A/C.

I went out last night in pants! I was pretty excited for the change but forgot how to dress in anything other than tanktops and shorts.

I can't recall the last time I slept through the night :( Last night I was awoke at about 1am to the sounds of things slamming, stomping, screaming above me ... then about two hours later ... the sounds a terribly squeaky bed ... post abuse make up sex? And then again at 5am another round of the squeky bed...

ROFL scotz!
Good idea wyndhy & big . . . alas my bathroom is by the apartment's front door so I'd have to sleep there.
I'm not complaining, I'm jes not sleepin'! I don't want A/C. It makes me feel "tough". LOL
It's almost 2:30 a.m. and it's still 33/91 with the humidex. I can hear the garbage collectors right now. I'm guessing they've moved their shifts up to avoid the heat. The city does kinda stink with the heatwave (and the garbage workers almost went on strike this week. Ugh!).
Am I the only Pixie without A/C? :hot: :D
