…while always keeping in mind that the House of Representatives has approved a constitutional amendment allowing laws to be passed to suppress desecration of the US flag. The bill is now before the Senate.

The draft amendment aims to override a 1989 Supreme Court ruling protecting flag desecration as free speech.
