Me, too, Coaster! IAKG ... make two sets. <-- Drool Smilie

Dashing through the cornfield,
With my hand a pumpin' hard,
Can't wait to see KG,
Dancing by the cobs.

Wish I had requested,
A film like that for me,
Makin' the ol' holidays,
Bright-er by far, you see.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way,
What fun to see our fine 'KG',
Stimulate our day! HEY!

I brought the box home, where Mrs. WI and I carefully looked through it and read soooooooo much stuff!

We laughed...we cried...our hair fell out and we glowed in the dark. (Thanks PF!)

We made love in the box. Ok, so it was next to us on the bed. :p

And we sent it on to the next victim, uh, recipient.

Round and round and round it goes...only two of us knows where it shows! :D

Actually that list has been edited. It still will travel to WI, Me, Coaster then return to DB. Of course not in that order :D
I hated to have to "bow out", but due to the recent errrm "difficulties" in my life, and yet again not being able to access Pixies, I felt that i truely couldn't play along. But i can't wait to see a final picture of what was in it when it makes its' final stop with DB!

I'm verklempt. This is better than Christmas. What a cool thing you guys have all done together. It's a beautiful testament to the deep level of friendship that can be found here. ((hugs))

This has been a really big week for me and the perfect topping to it was receiving the Pixies Package. You guys truly are amazing. Thank you for deciding to take a risk and play along with my silly game. I am hoping to get this in the mail in the morning. By Christmas maybe all the secrets can be revealed.

The package traveled 615 miles after it left me. With Bibi’s 595, that’s 1,210 miles.

For the USA players, you can use Map Quest (http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?bCTsettings=1) and just enter the zip codes. It will fill in the city and state and give you the distance.

9457 miles :) give or take a few once it started it's travels from Australia

I’m guessing Package # 1 traveled 19,217.51 miles from DB to FallenAngel5. :)

DB – Los Angles 1,949.3
LA – Brisbane 7,168 ( x 2 = 14,336)
Brisbane – Alasse 163km ( 101.28 miles) (x 2 = 202.56)
LA – FallenAngel5 2729.65

If this is right, our package traveled 27,316.38 miles or 43,880.07 km, or around the world 1.095 times (at the equator).

Boy! :) I can’t wait for the rest of the numbers to come in. :D

PIXIES
EVERYWHERE!

THE PACKAGE HAS ARRIVED

At the present time, pictures are being taken and more than 80 treasures are being inventoried. Would have been a bit more, but I ate some. Boy, I sure do love pure maple sugar candy. :)

Some of what's been collected is amazing. If I read everything before I post it, I won't be back until 2010 or so (don't worry, I won't). Still haven't looked at the CD's but will ... and at least tell you what they generally had on them. :)

Need to talk to Lilith. Not sure if she wants the "Journal" published, or just my inventory list. Couple of other minor questions, too.

But, at least it's here. When I finish, I'll mail it back to Lilith with some extra big hugs from all of us to her ... and anxiously await Package Number 2. :)

This was fun.

Like Lil, said, I love all you guys! You're funny and fantastic!

HERE IT IS...
WHAT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!

FIRST ... the box does stop here and won't be heading back to Lilith. Hee hee. Maple sugar candy. Maine Salt Water Taffy. I think I'm in heaven. :)

SECOND ... Lil asked that none of the "personal photos" be published. Saves having to someday make a judgement call if we just don't publish personal photos showing anyone. RED X's on the attached pictures indicates a personal photo that was covered up.

Because there was so much, I've grouped things into about 12 photos. Actually, one of four CDs had pictures on it too, but I think everything is covered.

The other three CDs had either music or nature sounds on them. "Thunderstorm Sex" (nature sounds); and Pixie party songs.

The full inventory and pictures follows:

And just to clarify, since osuche is soiling my good name--the box size did NOT have to double once I put my items in.

It tripled. :D

OMG ... YES!!! A leather whip. How did I miss that.

Oh, yeah, my wife borrowed it ... Ouch, ow, ooo, ow!

:D

I think there were also a couple of recipes which I'll publish. Just read back through the list and remembered them. Oh well, I'm slow but do bad work to compensate. :)

That's okay. After Ralph (aka "Houdini") went to the big hamster wheel in the sky, we got Crystal, who turned out to be the anti-Christ hamster. When we took her back to the pet store (yep, she was THAT BAD), we ended up with Lucy, a big poofball of a teddy bear hamster who also, unfortunately, likes to escape but *fortunately* is not very good at hiding. :D

Here's the first of the recipes ... courtesy of osuche

-----

One can drained corn - crushed (use can or mortar & pestle)
1/2 tsp garlic powder - more if you're brave
1/2 tsp pepper - more if you're brave
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 whole egg
1 tbsp chili pepper - fresh if possible / 2 whole chilis
2 scallions or 1/4 onion
1 whole egg (it was repeated on the recipe ... don't know if that was a goof or not.)
1 tbsp flour

Mix all ingredients together (add flour & onions last). The batter will not be thick, but you can add more flour to thicken if you like.

Drop teaspoons of batter into fry pan coated with oil. Wait about 2-3 minutes (burner on high). Turn. Remove from pan when golden brown.

Serve.

Thank you, osuche. Sounds great. Will have to get my wife to try making it.

Another gift from osuche.

-----

2-3 red tomatoes skinned (can sub can for whole tomatoes)
2 red bell peppers - sliced without seeds
1-2 red habenero peppers - chopped without seeds
2-3 garlic cloves
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/2 jar peanut butter (creamy)
1/4 warm water
2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 lemon

Blend tomatoes, red ball pepper, habeneros and garlic clove in food processor or blender until liquid. Pour liquid into a sauce pan and add salt & sugar. Heat sauce on medium (careful not to burn tomatoes).

Add peanut butter and stir until mixture thickens. When ready to serve, add water, 2 tbsp sweet soy, and the juice of a lemon. Stir.

Best when served with chicken or tofu and rice. This is a tasty sauce for any meal.

More good sounding food.

Wow...!!! I am so impressed with DB's inventory -- and impressed that a couple of people actually managed to avoid eating their See's candy bars. :D

The recipes came from my first trip overseas...have alot of history for me. And if you like spicy food, you'll love them.

I included mostly stuff from San Francisco (and the odd Death Valley bit), knowing the PF would cover Ohio. :)

Man...this was cool. I love you guys!

I would like to encourage everyone to post pics they took of the package in it's various stages. No two members who received the box experienced the same contents so it should be interesting to hear what was in it along the way. Please keep in mind that personal info such as names and photos are not appropriate for posting. It is for that reason that the journal has not been posted. Eventually I'll get time to blur some names and then I'll post what I have. I think I made it perfectly clear when we started that I would try my best to protect those people who chose to participate's privacy.
