The XP service pack one is pretty decent

I can second that... the built-in Firefox blocker works good.

i think i've had one or two pop-ups at the utmost since i started using mozilla. i agree with the last few about it. it is wonderful. you can go here http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ and click fee download to get it if you want.

I use Panickware Pop-up Stopper free version, works damn good, sometimes to good, at times I have to turn it off to open up like down load windows and such. I love it, easy to use also, and like I said FREE.

I also use Google Toolbar, which catches everything that IE misses. But that's only 42 since January, so it's doing pretty well. :)

I'll second (or is it third, or forth) the opinion that the Mozilla Firefox built in blocker is darn good. I would recommend you download the browser and come on over to the non-MSIE side.

MSIE in Windows XP service pack 2 blocks them pretty well.. and with the addition of the google toolbar (as FallenAngel5 suggested) it then works very well.

I still prefer Firefox.
