In my humble opinion, he was the best villain on the Batman TV series. And prior to that he was an absolutely amazing impressionist/standup comic. He did what was probably the best Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster impressions. And the bit he did with them arguing with each other was excellent. He will be missed.

Frank Gorshin was a great character actor.Most recently in 2002,he portrayed George Burns on stage in Say Goodnight Gracie.He will be missed.

Caught his final performance on CSI Thursday night...playing off Tony Curtis in a cameo, directed by Quentin Tarantino...some performers just know how to make an exit...

I remember his performance in the Star Trek episode, "Let This Be Your Final Battle", which shined a light on modern day prejudice.
