Anyone using Snap.com (http://snap.com/)???? Do you prefer it to Google?

Thanks Lil. :) I wasn’t aware of that engine.

The “suggestion” selector is a cute feature if I was just browsing around for something interesting. With just a couple quick tries, it didn’t seem to be as inclusive as Google or one other targeted engine I use.

When I checked some time differences, it was VERY slow. From 9 to 16 times slower.

Me, too. That's kind of neat. Thanks, Lilith! :)

I gave it a try and it was not able to locate some of the slightly more obscure topics that I entered. Google had no issue with them. Maybe as their databse gets larger it will get better... but for the moment I'm sticking with Google.

And for those that have not tried it yet... the google map tool is also pretty good. maps.google.com (http://maps.google.com)

When I snapped, it just fizzled. It worked extremely slow on my machine......

I've not tried it ... but metasearch I picked up and use from time to time is dogpile.com ... It's pretty nifty.
