Sayin' that you're lonely and you come here too
(BIBI.........I think the original was done by Johnny Rivers......if Ronnie Dove did it, I never heard it. :faint: )
Hoping by chance I get a glimpse of you...
(SS...My ma bought me the 45 by Dove in '68. Rivers did it in 1964 I believe)

A mountain of love
A mountain of love
You just changed your name
(BIBI.........sorry, I had no idea Ronnie Dove did it later.....all I know by him is "Hey, You")
Way down below there's a half a million people
Somewhere there's a church with a big tall steeple...
SS he had quite a few songs out.....lol ask my mother! ;)

Ooops! you beat me. :p
Inside the church, there's an altar filled with flowers.....
Wedding bells are ringing,
That should have been ours...

To wrap up, I remember Ronnie Dove vaguely, but I don't recall him doing this song...I was working from Johnny Rivers' version...I also recall Charlie Pride reviving it as a country version a few years back...
...& I'll see what I can do about getting a zip clip to y'all of my own interpretation of this one...
lol...glad you can wrap it up Scotz.....the song won't leave me for a minute! :)
