View Full Version : TV ads..educational
So...the other day I'm watching TV..and the ads are along the lines of weight loss products, cleaning products and (of course) girl products. Typical TV fare. I have to admit that these ADs teach ya a lot. Just wondering how much of educating america is done via TV products versus real education.

What exactly did you learn?
I learned a few things...First off...there an awful lot of side effects related to depression products...(sexual performance, possible stroke, digestion issues etc..)..a lot on weight loss...and well...there appears to be a lot of new developments in the girl world or so the ads lead me to believe..Oh and, well, guys are ignorant about a lot of stuff your team does, but I've noticed now there is hormonal skin care depending on the time of the month.....And incidentally, I'm not talking about infomercials, just regular ads.
And let's see...then there is the whole bit about men age..(Viagra has a lot to say too etc).
Just those type of things. And not even trying hard.

I learn far more by going to the mall and people watching....but I don't always like what I learn.

"Just wondering how much of educating Americs is by TV products versus a real education?" These days,I suspect just about all of it.

Commercials just taught you that we don't undestand what's going on with women? Geez, they've been telling me that for years :jester:

That's why men get married. If it weren't for marriage, we might really think we knew what we were doing and had no faults. :D
