View Full Version : Love it or hate it?
The Scion xB (or Honda Element) is pretty much a 'Wow, that's cool' or 'Damn, that's ugly' kinda car.
What's your opinion?

I like the "Pimp My Ride" version of it and the Alpine Audio DJ version, but other wise the plain stock version looks like a car that i would have built out of Lego blocks back when i was a kid, LOL

While I attach the term "fugly" to them, I can most certainly see how they have some very good utility to them. I even considered a Honda Element a while back. Only thing is that it had no towing capacity so that was the end of that.

I saw one of these driving down the street of my tiny town today and thought, "What the hell was that???"

With my love affair of any automobile being long over, I don’t stay up on them and the styling today of most has become a blur from when makes stood out. (75 Fleetwood vs Blair ) I don’t know if it will be a real Hummer when it grows up, but that looks like a good Urban Assault Vehicle for today, strictly from appearance.

Funny you should bring it up now, the "Car Talk" guys on NPR have been compiling an Ugly car list lately, & the Scion & the Element were right there at the top...also getting Dishonorable Mention was the Pontiac Aztex (described as looking like it was designed by 2 different committees that weren't allowed to consult each other till they met at the B-pillar)...all the more startling (to me anyway) because it's a product from vererable old GM, who doesn't usually allow radical design errors like that into production...
btw, lmao at PF's "will it be a Hummer when it grows up"...
