I just washed a load of my professional clothes with my kiddos chenille blanket :D :hair:
Am I the only one who does really dumb stuff?

Geez Lil... I don't see how anyone could have done something that dumb.

I guess the answer to your question would be no. :rolleyes2 :p

Brewing coffee and then realizing that you're too sick to your stomache to drink it?

Go figure. :dizzy:
Those are the same ladies that pour boiling hot wax over their inner thighs, rip it off , tearing the hair out by the roots and are still scared of a spider.

Oh hell, I had one of these "moments" just yesterday. I got home from classes and stood at the front door pressing the button on my pickup remote expecting the house door to unlock. LOL Geeeeeeeeez I won't have admitted that one to just anybody.

LMAO.... BigBear, I pretty much did the same thing this afternoon- tried to lock the house with the car remote :dizzy: I've also basically done what Lil did- except in my case it was to wash a load of black things and not realize there was a white tissue in one of the pockets. What a mess!

i once spent all morning making a superb (one o ma betta efforts if a do say so maself) chicken stock and then proceeded to dump it down the sink, watching in oblivious idiocy as the golden liquid poured around the black rubber of the garbage disposal to be lost forever.
and if i think about it some more i coauld come up with boneheadier thigs than that.
my name is wyndhy and i love a boner...er i am a bonehead
Trying to unlock a car that was identical to mine....that one boggled me, until the owner came and offered to help. Did I feel dumb when he took his key out and unlocked MY car LOL.

Seems my semi-regular dumbass moment comes when fixing my eggs for breakfast...I like just a spot of milk in them before I scramble them...in the interest of being efficient, I also pour my glass of milk at the same time...& yeh, sure enough, 1 out of 3 times I pour the cup with the eggs nearly full of milk before my brain re-engages...

My favorite is heating something up in the microwave....then finding it the next day because I forgot about it.

I'm the queen of bonehead moments....This is something I'd never admit to anyone offline lol.....I put a bag of popcorn in the microwave (one of the little snack bags) while I was talking on the phone and when I hit the "quick on" button, I pushed 4 instead of 1...I was sitting on the couch just chatting away when I started smelling burnt popcorn, went in the kitchen and the bag was nearly on fire lol
Might I add, the burnt popcorn smell only recently left the microwave :p I thought I was going to have to buy a new one.
Someone mentioned milk in the freezer instead of the fridge, but I've put lots of things in the freezer that shouldn't be there. I dropped my keys in there once and didn't find them for two days (I had to use my boyfriend's keys)..I've also put the peanut butter instead of the jelly in the fridge (D'oh!)

About a month ago was cooking and needed spinach. Pulled a box of froozen out of my freezer and put the box on a paper plate and threw it in the mircowave to defrost. After 3 minutes it was still rock hard. So I put it on for 5 more did this 3 or 4 time. Then relized the box was wrapped with a tin foil wrapper.

Something to do with the statute of limitations, no doubt?

Yesterday morning I needed to rewarm my coffee, so I put the cup on the counter next to the microwave, then turned the microwave on for 40 seconds. When the time was up and it beeped, I picked up my cup off of the counter (still cold of course) and proceeded to drink it. DUHHH...
