Nightly Rituals......

So What are your nightly rituals??????

As for me....She is waiting every night as I get ready for bed. She starts by nibbling my neck and running her warm tounge over my ear. Next she moves down and nibbles that spot behind my knee. She then straddles me, rocking softly and slowly. Her nails diging into my flesh as she starts to rock faster. I lay and watch her as she starts to bounce faster and faster. After she is finished she curls up and as I watch her sleep, her breath soft on my skin I lay thinking................

Damn I wish I could get that dayum puppy to quit humping my leg every night.

I just knew this was going to be about an animal......why? Because I get woken every night by a face so close to mine that I can hear his breathing, he licks and nibbles my ears and runs a paw through my hair....the best bit is, sometimes it's two of them doing the same thing!

I love my kittens. :D

At home....
When at home my lil puppy which isn't really a puppy anymore (8 yrs old) starts to quietly growl then a quiet bark just as soon as I lay down. Every night never fails and the barks get louder till I pick him up and set him right beside me. He then persists to keep me up for another half hour while he rolls on his back, scratches up my bed, and moves my legs so that he is comfortable... after this we both fall asleep, for about two hours... then he decides he wants a drink of water, and barks till I let him down and out the door, only for him to come back ten or fifteen mins later and bark to get back in the bed... No wonder I never sleep at home. Even after all this I still miss that lil' guy...

Here at school....
Visit pixies... then tuck into bed and fall fast asleep with visions of pixies still dancing in my head... ;)

you could set up a pair of prosthetic legs on a chair and then you won't have to worry about your legs :D

I know Lou's ritual fairly well, my kit runs crazily around the house and then jumps up in the bed and ruffles all the linens before he crawls slowly up and pushes his nose within inches of mine to be sure I'm really under the covers trying to sleep, after I open my eyes and acknowledge him he then climbs and settles snuggled tight against me, often on top of an arm... nothing like that asleep limb feeling and trying to move it with a 9 pound dead asleep kit on it! He mostly sleeps through the night with me and isn't a fan of the alarm ... must have learned that from me!

He sits beside me on the sofa...I reach to touch him and he raises his chin for a kiss...he gets up and goes to the stairway...looking back to see if I am watching...I take his lead and turn off the TV and turn off the lights...he waits at the stairs till I round the corner and then makes a game of it and runs to the top of the steps so that I can't reach out and touch his bum as he goes up...I follow...I get into bed and pat the covers beside me...he jumps onto the bed with a barely audible Meow...and he circles me like I am the cowboys and he is the indians!

Yep...it's been a ritual for nigh on 5 years now...and he likes it and it ain't changing anytime soon as far as I can tell...lmao!

Usually kiss and rub each other. I'm especially fond of having my legs massaged and she loves getting her back scratched. Where it goes from there depends on the day. :)
